This site will promote the visual, musical, intellectual, spiritual, architectural, recreational, and gastronomic delights of the most elevated section of the Ohio and Erie Canal National Historic Corridor, from the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area though Akron to the Portage Lakes. This segment of the unofficial Sports Corridor features the Akron Aeros baseball team and the Rubber Bowl, home of the University of Akron Zips.


The Ohio and Erie Canal and Towpath Trail along the west side of Canal Park, home of the Akron Aeros baseball team at 300 South Main Street.

"Hidden Waterfall" - the Canal flows over the remains of an old unrestored lock behind and beneath the Akron Civic Theatre, west of Main Street.
